Welcome to St George & Sutherland Shire Anglers Club

Our club is located in the southern Sydney suburb of Taren Point,

on the shores of Botany Bay.

The club's objectives are as follows:-

(a)  to further the interests and sport of angling;

(b)  to promote courtesy and sportsmanship among anglers;

(c)  to publicise the principles of angling and the compliance with State laws;

(d)  instruction in the selection and use of appropriate tackle;

(e)  to establish and promote social, sporting and educational undertakings for the benefit of members; and

(f)  to encourage and promote environmental awareness.

 

As a community based fishing club,

we offer a variety of social and competition events for novice and seasoned anglers.

Our club consists of around 200 members,

and we fish right across the spectrum of angling, both salt and fresh water.

This includes offshore, estuary, beach, rock, sport & game fishing.

We regularly participate in competitions at club, inter-club, state and national levels.
